Veggie Hot Dog Eating Contest Photos



It was a good time and a good turn-out. Next year I think the contestants need to be up on a platform, as you can see it was a little hard to see what was going on. And it was a good reason to get some Stickyfingers! I believe the winner, the guy in the red shirt, ate 16.5 veggie dogs.

    HAHA! thanks for posting these images. the event was a blast and it’s cool to know that there were a lot of nonvegetarians there — some who competed and others who got free samples. i hope there are more of these events

    Too bad the guy who won was a dude who competes on the circuit. I’d rather have seen a vegan or even a vegetarian win the thing.

    I think it was great that a meat-eater won the contest. I believe there were several other meat-eaters competing. It was the perfect event to show that vegetarians and vegans know how to have fun too!
